We're the Climbing Clan.
A bunch of supportive, friendly people who like to encourage each other to climb and eat cake.
Every Wednesday, we run an indoor climbing meetup at Parthian Manchester and Summit Up in Oldham, and if you can belay, you're invited!
On the first Wednesday evening of the month, we welcome people new to climbing who don't belay yet, and climbers new to the Clan. If you're wondering what a good first event to attend is, it'll be one of these.
On the first Saturday of October, November, March and April, we climb outside at crags all around Manchester and the Peak District. You're welcome to join.
Every month we visit a different part of the UK and support each other on Climbing Clan overnight group trip. For some special trips we stay for longer than a weekend.

We run regular training events for volunteers to keep encouraging people to progress further with their skills.
We organise quiz nights, film viewings, walks, theme part visits and more. Often these are organised spontaneously on The Social Clan facebook group and sometimes you'll also find things here that you can sign up for.
